A new addition to our |design| inspiration, this brand identity by Michelle Wang is still provoking smiles in our studio. Based on a fictional company, Thunder Thighs Twinkle Toes – The School for Unconventional Ballet, the designer took a novel approach to sidestep preconceived notions about the classical form of dance. The name itself exudes whimsy, and there’s something refreshingly simple and jovial about the suite in what is often a hyper-designed world. Add in a punchy palette, (ever-so-slightly reminiscent of our own TGL identity), characters which appear to dance within their troupe, and we can’t help but applaud Ms.Wang for a job well done.
